Traditional Loempia (175gr)

Our giant spring roll is made of layers of free-range chicken, egg omelet, ham and the freshest stir-fried vegetables all combined in a crispy jacket of

home-made ultra-thin pancakes.

 

Cut them open lengthwise, as per the Dutch tradition, and serve them with soy or chilli sauce.

 

Fun fact: The Dutch word loempia originates from the Indonesian word lumpia. 

Serving suggestion

As a meal we recommend serving the spring roll with a freshly made

Asian cucumber salad and chilli sauce.

Of course you can also enjoy our spring roll as a snack, e.g. with sweet chilli sauce on the side.

Cooking instructions

Remove the frozen spring rolls from the package and deep fry at

180 degrees for 10 minutes.Thawed spring rolls only need to be deep fried

for 7 to 8 minutes at 180 degrees. Flip the spring rolls over a couple of times while cooking. Spring rolls can not be refrozen once thawed. 

Do not deep-fry more than 2 spring rolls at a time as the oil temperature

will drop too much.

 

Be careful: let them cool down for a minute after deep-frying,

the filling can be very hot!
